Except no pressure cooker recipe I’ve ever seen includes the “Wait 5-10 mintues for the cooker to come up to pressure before the timer starts”. So the 20 minutes listed as cooktime is actually 25-30.
The steaks were only part of it. the rest was various other things. But mostly because I was young and dumb. Which is part of why I don’t get to do cook anything that involves more than 2 ingredients anymore.
I found this out the hard way when I made a marinade for some steaks for my wife’s birthday. Spent about $50 on all the fixings and the steaks. They weren’t edible. Ended up going to the local chain steak place. She hasn’t trusted me with recipes cince.
Some moron brought a few into the county I grew up in in North Arkansas. They have expanded the family rapidly. Everyone i know who hunts takes down as many as they can whenever they can, and they are still spreading like wildfire. But the poison does worry me.
