It’s certainly impressive how Verstappen managed to give the same place up three times and still get a five-second penalty for not giving up the place! Still, as you say, it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

And if that happens, I fully expect the FIA to give the title to Hamilton (as they tried hard to do in this race)

I get annoyed with post-race penalties changing the order, but I agree. Not sure why Mercedes was allowed to simply disregard the rules (haha just kidding, of course I know why).
