Exactly—he can’t accept the fact that he can’t make films the way he wants to anymore, and the fact that he’s getting too old to struggle making them like he used to (he had a heart attack while working on Don Quixote years ago.) And, yeah, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote finally got released, but has it been an actual

Both A Wrinkle In Time and Selma earned both their budgets back, with Selma being critically acclaimed on top of that. When I went to see it after it came out, the audience I saw it with actually clapped at the end (which I’ve rarely seen happen outside of an arthouse theatre) that’s how inspiring it was, even if you

More like, just straight-up old-white-guy who can’t deal with the fact that he’s not on top anymore spewing tired, old white-guy bulls***, and the fact that white men are being called out and questioned on their privilege more than ever before. That’s really what his whiny-a** can’t stand hearing about.

Yeah, he has a long history of having trouble with the studios concerning his films. He could have made things a lot easier for himself if he’d just played the game, did what he had to do, and gained himself a little more freedom in the process. When he made that stupid rant about Black Panther recently, he was

Women were a part of those changes too, you know. Once again, men weren’t and aren’t the only ones who helped build civilizations up.

White people in general did not create the only civilzations on earth--let’s get that straight right now.

And to have millenial grandkids ask him what’s he whining the hell about now, with his old whining, complaining about nothing a**.

Which is exactly what he was doing, if you read his entire interview on that British paper’s website. I mean, the how the hell is more people of color and women getting into the film business hurting him any? It’s not. He just can’t deal with the fact that white men aren’t on a pedestal anymore like they used to

I kind of disagree—-saw Time Bandits as a kid at the theatre, even though I don’t even recall wanting to see the film at the time, strangely enough. Saw it on DVD years later, and thought it was a pretty entertaining film that still held up entertainment wise. I guess it depends on when and how you first saw the film.

To be fair, Gilliam was one of the most talented, imaginative directors around—-but he was always doing battle with the studios over his pictures, dating back to when Brazil came out back in the day (look that up.) I love the weird, intriguing old-school style decor he did for his period flicks, like The Brothers

Check him out in an Australian film he did a couple of years ago called The Rover—he was really good in that one, and even batter in his latest film, a psychological horror film called The Lighthouse. He also got good reviews for another indie film he did that I haven’t seen yet, called Good Times.

The thing is, a hell of a lot of people made fun of and picked apart Twilight just like Pattinson did——he sure as hell isn’t the only person who had a problem with the films——when the films were out and blowing up at the box office, there were so many comments online about how this Edward the vampire was nothing but a

I used to like Carolla when he did the Loveline show years ans years ago with Dr. Drew, but since then, I really haven’t cared much for him, with his irritating voice---it’s like he just likes to hear himself talk and say things to tick people off, or whatever. Never heard of this flick, and apparently it’s just as

Seriously? Funny how idiots like you who are so quick to call Antifa activists “thugs” which they are not, love demonizing the hell out of them more than you do the white nationalist thugs they are usually looking to start a fight with them.

It’s not pointless for her though---that’s the point. Just because you don’t care about debating anyone on anything, that certainly dosen’t mean her debates are worthless. They mean something to her.  I like debating and getting into discussion with people myself---it matters to me. Nobody cares whether you care or

Morning Bell is on Radiohead’s Amnesiac album, which is one of their best albums next to OK Computer, IMHO. And it’s a beautiful and sad song, too.

For real—-just about most of Radiohead’s albums I’ve heard are actually good, and they’re never been one of those “bro-boy-bands” type of bands anyway—-and that is what’s refreshing about them. None of their stuff deserves to be labeled a “worst of anything” on any list, period.

Oh, wow—-you just couldn’t wait to be sexist and racist in one fell swoop, could you, you silly troll? How ridiculous of you. Also, the only reason that their texts and their affair was even made public (which really had nothing to do with their actual work on the investigation into Clinton’s e-mails) was because the

The film wasn’t a train wreck at all, and practically EVERY historical film ever made has some parts fictionalized for drama’s sake. And what “black monster/Bigger Long” are you talking about? Are you talking about the black slave hunter who helped Harriet’s master track her down? And exactly how is the film

Howard also co-wrote the script with Kasi Lemmons, who is also black, and a director of such films as Eve’s Bayou, The Caveman’s Valentine, and Talk To Me. She herself has commented on the fact that even as long as she’s been in the business, that’s it’s still a struggle to get films featuring black people as the main
