Nope to all these pieces today (at this family of sites and others) fawning over her for saying the bare minimum truths that progressives share in meme form on FB. Not to mention that the majority of her “points” have already been made by the top two progressives on the stage (barring the reparations commentary).

“We can quibble over whether Williamson’s emotions were sincere or part of a larger grift, but they came across as genuine...”

As a Pirates fan, yes, the Pirates booth is an embarrassment, but, frankly, wouldn’t you be testy if you were Greg Brown?

TLDR:

Yeah that seriously pissed me off. And Gabbard dithered on LGBTQ rights and her record. Top all that off with her ties to Russia, Breitbart and how much Bannon loves her and it’s a big no from me.

It was hilarious when one of the white dudes was saying that he’d done so much for women and their rights to choose and Amy Klobuchar stepped on him by saying, “The three women on stage have done a lot for women.” She also had this look in her eyes that said, “Sit your ass down, bro.”

Agreed!  Also, let’s hear it for a history making night. Although Warren is the only one I’m ride or die for, we had three women on stage at a Presidential Debate for the first time in history. And the second time in history will be tonight. It may be late, but it is still rad.

I agree with the first part, but after last night I’d love to see a Warren Castro ticket. We’ll see how my feelings on this change after the second and future debates!

I don’t think McConnell’s skull will hold a full pint, but pass it around anyway.  We’ll all take a sip.

Please God, let Warren be the Democratic nominee. And let Sanders run as her VP so that all the Bernie Bros can actually STFU and vote.

Yeah Beto was...was not good! And he spoke longer than Warren.

If there’s a lot of outcry about how much Warren in particular, or the women on stage in general, spoke, it’s probably indicative of studies I’ve read that find that men feel like women are ‘everywhere’ and ‘in the majority’ and talk more than anyone else as soon as we tip over 30% of attendance at something or 30% of

Yeah, I heard way more of repetitive Tulsi than I wanted to hear tonight.

Her message was louder, more engaging, and more responsive. It’s why she’s increasingly winning, in my view.

A lot of leaders, and a lot of agreement on the basic policies, with just differences in the details (not that those aren’t important mind you). Made me feel good.

Let’s be honest, being on the stage at all was more time than Beto deserved.

At the start of the second hour, there were some problems with the microphones. They had to cut to commercial for about five minutes to fix it. Slightly embarrassing, but really not a big deal.

While I think a lot of candidates made good showings for themselves tonight, I’m inclined to agree. If I had to vote in the primary tomorrow, I’d vote for Warren.

That said, I found myself thinking back to the utter circus that was the Republican primary debates in 2012 and feeling pretty damn good about the future.
