Let’s not frame this as a question of “choice” or whether or not she is a good parent. No reputable doctor should administer IVF treatments to a 65 year old woman. If the therapist isn’t a good fit, don’t be afraid to get another one—it happens and they won’t hold it against you. Also progress can be slow, but I’ve made a lot of progress with my anxiety/depression. Good luck!

I did it, I finally swallowed my pride and made an appointment at a therapist who specializes in anxiety/depression, and I’m not gonna lie, asking for help was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Come June 8th I’ll hopefully be starting on the journey to get my life back on track.
