I’ve continuously owned a Mazda for almost a decade now. They’re my favorite ‘regular’ car maker.

Its a bit disheartening that a lot of the peoples favorite manufacturers is based on the reliability. Jalopnik is far removed from an enthusiasts blog, and has transitioned into a consumer reports-esque page.

I agree they strayed from their formula, but respect that they didn’t totally sell out. Pretty much everything they build is top of its class for handling. No a Macan won’t handle like a 911, but it will out handle pretty much everything in its class. Hell, even a base panamera pulled a G on the skid pad when C&D…

What automaker has a more enthusiast focused line up than Porsche? I’ll admit they have strayed from the old formula with SUVs, Sedans and EVs but they’re some of the best driving cars in their respective classes.
