Buell couldn’t sell enough bikes because the bikes were not compelling enough for the price to enough people. If you’re going to make a bike in the Ducati price bracket, it’d better be some combination of:

A. As fast or faster than the competition
B. Very good looking
C. Successful in racing
D. At a dealership near you
