Who pissed on your cheerios this morning asshole? Go cry more.

You’re right. I am just pretty picky with options, and I don’t get to choose my options with a used car. It’s honestly just a mental hump I need to get over. Do I REALLY need PSM and the Sport Chrono package and the bucket seats to enjoy the car? Unlikely.

I guess I’ll stick to lower priced cars that are lightly modified to chase and overtake Porsches at the track. Like the Supra or CT4V Blackwing. My sanity and conscience just won’t allow me to join in on the current new and used Porsche market party.

I’ve been looking at a few recently, but they’re all automatics, and have been optioned out by people who have horrendous taste. I can’t do anything besides a black or dark grey interior. All I’ve been seeing are PDKs with lightly colored interiors. Yea, I know PDK is faster and superior, but I want a manual dammit!

I wouldn’t get snippy if people didn’t assume that I needed unsolicited financial advice. 1-2 years is cushion. I can truly afford to buy one now, at MSRP. Maintenance and all. Cushion would be for ADM, if I do decide to pay it. Like I said, even if I put in a deposit now, my car wouldn’t ever be built because once it

I agree. I also have zero brand loyalty. This makes it difficult to build a relationship with ANY dealer or salesperson, because I’m there to buy a car, not make long lasting relationships.

This is interesting. I make great money now, but it hasn’t always been that way, so I still have frugal person tendencies, and I don’t have the country club mentality. I definitely am not in it to resell. So what you’re saying is that I should buy a used Porsche I may not even actually want to ‘climb’ the Porsche

Maybe don’t have kids then.

I don’t have a problem affording it. I just can’t stomach the price increase while you get nothing for it. It’s bad at dealers, but somehow, it’s OK when the manufacturer does it? I didn’t get to where I am by throwing money away or buying things at an inflated amount.

You and I are clearly not Porsche’s targeted customer base.

Porsche making record sales and profit on their volume sellers worldwide while simultaneously raising MSRP on all models is so infuriating. I’m about a year or 2 away financially to be able to afford a Cayman GTS(with options) or 911T(minimal options) but they raise the prices in response to dealer markups. Gotta have

I wish Michelin would start making an endurance 200TW tire to compete with the Hankook Ventus RS4S and Continental Extreme Contact Force, and in even more sizes. The Pilot Sport Cup 2s are great, but even at 240 TW, the life on them is far, far, far less than RS4s and ECFs, while still having roughly the same lap

Would be a shame if.... someone brushed up against their personal cars with a hard, sharp object by accident.

2 things you shouldn’t cheap out on when dealing with anything with wheels. Tires and brakes. I’m a mountain biker and a motorcycle and car enthusiast. This mantra holds true for all 3 hobbies, as different as they are from each other.

If all season, all weather superiority is what you’re after, I’d suggest Michelin CrossClimate 2s. The can go practically anywhere to include the snow, dirt, and not too deep mud, provide decent dry grip, and has the wet grip of a rain race tire. They are winter rated summer tires with a M+S designation. The true all

VR motion sickness does occur initially when starting off on VR, but it eventually goes away when you play it regularly. It affected me pretty badly the very first time using it on GT7. So much so that the after effects of motion sickness actually made me sick for the rest of that day, and I had a hard time sleeping

I hope there’s PSVR2 support. I can’t play racing games on my sim rig any more on a flat 2D screen. I want the immersion.

That’s true. And it’s not like the ITS is a track day special. Acura is specifically marketing it as a street biased version of the FL5. And at that money, there are a lot more faster street cars regardless of body style, with AWD or RWD.

I think the numbers will be about even overall, if both go through a 4-5 year sales period. The FL5 has one MY over the ITS though, but the first MY is always a wash as far as production numbers go. But it’ll feel like there will be more ITS on the road because it’s built in Ohio, which means the ITS will reach

I hope so, but I’m not holding my breath. They’re normally pretty transparent about factory options, and Acura wouldn’t miss the chance to drum up hype by explicitly stating that there is an optional ‘track package’. I feel like the ITS will be sold fully loaded with just this one trim, with only dealer or port
