I had this issue when first didn’t use a 5 inch riser. I had to find a hill to park on to help me unload the bike by myself. It was way more difficult than it needed to be. But a 5 inch riser is only $30 at Harbor Freight.

Rise is measured from the ground to the base of the tow ball on your vehicle. My CX5 actually measures 19 inches or so, but when loaded with the trailer and motorcycle, it’s about 18 inches, which makes the trailer very level.
I rent one of these every motorcycle track day I go to! I really like them and they’re super cheap to rent for 2-3 days. I’ve exceeded the recommended speed limit many times and nothing bad has happened. It’s super easy to load and unload with just me. Though it helps that my bike is 350 lbs wet.
