I just replied elsewhere that my mother in law started this at a church where she was a pastor. It’s not everyday that your pastor tells you to “get flocked.”

That’s fantastic!! My mother in law had been a pastor before she died. With one of her churches, she started some kind of initiative (that completely escapes me) where many pink flamingos would be placed on a family’s lawn overnight. That family had to follow through with their part of the initiative before they could

Nope. That's what I thought half of the way through this.

I agree. No issues with pre-bussing, but I suppose what really bothers me is someone touching the plate or glass before asking.

I didn’t have an opinion on her either. Then I saw her on Jimmy Fallon last night. My only remark was, “She’s not terribly bright, is she?” My husband couldn't stand her.

Haha! Yes, just about every place we go to has its own name that we have dubbed it for whatever reason. Many foods, too. I haven’t decided if we are bored or creative. :)

DYING over “orange roo-gee”!

“Chi-pot-a-lay” is easily my favorite mispronunciation. However, “sal-mon” makes me want to cut someone.

I’m from the Annapolis area and pronounce it properly. However, I did move to Frederick and am married to a man who says “car-mal,” so, there’s that. But, yes. The people I know from Fredneck, the Eastern Shore and the South all pronounce it wrong.

My husband, who is from Santa Barbara, pronounces it “car-mal” and it raises my hackles every single time. Incidentally, his mom’s family is from Brooklyn, so there’s that. Our “discussions” of the proper pronunciation are often quite loud and wrought with derision.

I'm bistitchual. I'm sure there is a joke in there somewhere.

Oh! You are right!

I still love Princess Beatrice’s hat from William and Kate’s wedding.

The day this broke, I told my husband that the only thing that could make this shit show even more delicious/disturbing would be if she claimed that her mom had an affair with a *gasp* black man.

I cannot imagine trying to serve and clear tables in heels. I would probably kill myself or someone else. My husband wears non-slips in the kitchen where he works and occasionally has a near wipeout if he’s not careful. Requiring women to wear heels? That’s just a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Yes! I paid for ad-free Trivia Crack because, as I told my husband, I was tired of seeing Kate Upton’s boobs between each round. That ad was invasive in just about any free games.

Yes! There are some great mods out there. I honestly see more hate and general vitriol in the comments of local news sites that are supposed to be moderated.

Also a redditor and you are right. There are still some awesome places where this sort of heinous behavior is pretty much unheard of or not tolerated at all. Smaller niche subs like /r/knitting, crochet, gardening, and canning are amongst my favorites. TrollX is also a fun place as are almost any of the animal subs.

She has been found!! I posted earlier, but am grayed out.

It appears that the police have found her in Boone, NC and she has been taken in for an evaluation.
