Aww! Thanks so much for your kindness. I appreciate "empathy" as "sympathy is definitely not what I want. It's hard to know what someone is going through unless you have been there. It's kind of funny, I'm watching The Golden Girls episode where Dorothy is sick and none of her doctors believes there is anything wrong

Ditto. Before I had the worst ankle sprain in medical history (I may be exaggerating a bit), I bought heels like crazy even though I could never take them off soon enough. I haven't worn them in 3 years, but it doesn't mean I still don't drool over a beautiful pair!

When I wear it, I love colors like those in this pallette. So tempting!

I sincerely hope that there is a typo in that statement.

Why do I lust after cosmetics when I don't wear much more than lip gloss/balm?

I worked with someone who LOVED all of those odd colors. No one looks good in bright yellow eye shadow. No one.

Grew up and went to school there! I left in 2001-too much congestion. I moved up near the PA line. The weird thing is-NOTHING was in the paper about this, um, disruption. Totally weird. It's bad enough that we have F-16 traffic everytime the president goes to Camp David!

Thank you. I think I am going to look into the "drug cocktail" as I have an appointment with my pain doc this week. I have had the facet injections, too. The side effects of the steroids are so bad that I know that I don't want to go through it again-especially since the benefits are very minimal. The term "mood

Heat really does help with the pain. I actually have not tried Aleve as I am a fan of all things Advil. It had not really worked for other things in the past, but I wonder if it might be helpful in combination with what I am already taking. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks-I think I need all the luck I can get. I have not done a lot of research into alternative medicine. My insurance does not cover it and there are not too many providers in our area. I suppose that I could see what is available via contacts at our local co-op. I think they have had lectures in the past.

I certainly appreciate the encouragement. I'm sorry that anyone has to go through this. I totally understand the feeling of just not wanting to do any more treatment. You end up feeling like a guinea pig for all kinds of things that don't help. As I mentioned in another response, medical marijuana is not legal in the

Thanks so much. It's amazing how many doctors/providers still think fibromyalgia is BS. I have tried other opiates, which did little or, in the case of fentanyl, I was allergic to the adhesive on the patch. IV fentanyl is completely awesome, I should research other forms. As far as marijuana is concerned, it is still

A good friend at work told me this gem. Several years ago she was over in our company's telemarketing department and overheard co-workers fawning over someone's new baby. She heard some one ask, "What's her name?" and the mother replied, "It's LaTrine".

A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. A year and a half later, I still have not found a doctor who has been able to treat it. I have run the course of all the medicines. Lyrica makes me swell up like a bullfrog and didn't help a lot. Cymbalta made me near suicidal. Savella didn't do anything.

Earlier last week I told of the tales here on Jez about the crazy names we have for our pets. In our case, it is not only nicknames but full names, as well. Our Dalmatian is Madison J. Squealingham AKA the Madigator. One of our Dachshunds, Frankie, is also known as Franklin J. Kittenpie, Frank N. Furter or the

Love this!

Ooooooh...pretty.

Will help for homemade bagels!

Whew! Door was locked and the helicopters are gone after almost an hour of hovering. Nothing found news-wise. Even though we are a sizable city, the closest thing we have to local news is a newspaper. I hope that this has been resolved and no one was injured.

This is troubling on MANY different levels. I would feel troubled, too.
