Trucks should be required to be Body on Frame to classify as trucks and that lower tax. They actually need to be functional trucks with large payload capacity. And they should be outfitted as trucks: bulkhead if needed, d-rings for securing cargo, have fire extinguisher, etc. etc. Ideally ICE trucks should be powered

This all started with Newt and his strategy of demonizing his opponents as a way to rile up the base. Fast forward to 2010 when the GOP drummed up anger over the ACA to win at the local/state level and redistrict a ton of formerly competitive seats to be safe, leading to the party primaries being the “real” election

Guy Driving the Challenger: Wait what?! Why didn’t this thing turn?!

Most incredibly, there was no article written about the actual terrorist attack by Hamas. How is that possible? It’s Israel’s version of 9/11 and you don’t even see fit to do an article about it? That’s basically Fox News level journalistic malpractice.

That is a total mischaracterization of what she did.  She condemned killing of innocents by anyone.  How on earth is that a controversial take?

You’d think that, but when Maine implemented some pretty drastic conditions around buying and selling scrap metal, thefts plunged. Maine, having more summer-only homes than anywhere else in the nation, had a HUGE problem with copper theft long before catalytic converter theft became a thing. But the same restrictions

Awww, ain’t that cute.

Network and freelance camera operators are worried re: Lake’s run, primarily because of the campaign’s mandated vaseline-on-the-lens will play havoc with their equipment.

I'd argue it's pretty reasonable to expect more from people behind the wheel of 4,000lbs of steel, given that the likelihood of a driver dying due to a pedestrian collision is basically nil, while the reverse is not.

yes, we should just give up

This is some victim blaming bullshit, and assumes that all pedestrian strikes occur when the pedestrian is entering the cross-walk from the “right” side of the road.

The problem is that the references used were not primary sources. They’ve left themselves open to duplicate their sources’ biases, oversights, and exaggerations.

An article like this really needs to mention that smart locks are, by and large, horrifically insecure. I’m not even taking about the digital side of things, the mechanics of the locking mechanisms are hugely vulnerable to even the most basic attempts at picking

This reminds me of what it was like to go to John Waters’s movies way back when. I hope this is a smash.

Also, Bros cost $14 million. I’m going to guess that this did... not. If it’s half the cult-hit that it’s being targeted as, it’ll easily make its money back and more-so through years of late-night screenings.

Bros was an attempt to do a gay, but otherwise traditional, romcom. This movie just sounds ridiculous and batshit—wholly its own thing. It probably won't have any real mass appeal, but then again, that's not necessarily what A24 is about.

“My personal beliefs mean that I can object to treating a patient.”

I admit my first thought was, “What the %$*@ is a ham bar?” But then I remembered that I had a Mountain Dew bar as my wedding, so I shut the heck up.
