I’d add the Annals of Improbable Research podcast - it’s short, and full of the same oddball research that (usually) has a point you find in AIR’s magazine or the Ig Nobels

The only real ding I give the RadRunner is how they really don’t want you to change out of their own tires - and anyone who lives in a snowy climate with poor plowing knows the need for studded tires in the winter. 

Business are only people until the business takes a stand against the GQP, then it gets regulated out of existence.

Pence is NEVER going to be the GQP candidate for president, he’s never going to be liked by the MAGA whackjobs, and he knows this. So him flipping may at least make him look half-way decent for the history books.

Not making a judgement, but using comments about ones employer, while employed doesn’t strike me as hard evidence. I would have never said anything bad about a shitty employer until I was either not employed or so pissed as to not care if I was employed or not.

While this is a celebrity, I’m referring to people or groups in general. In my case, it was a group that espoused values I very much agree with, and I gave nine years of my life to - but in the last two became very much a hostile working environment due to people who were much more publicly visible than me taking…

Bogus. Unless you’re a professional-class sprinter, there is no benefit of using pedals you can clip in. Some people feel lik they’re more “part of the bike” when they use clipless pedals (long story, but that’s what clip-in pedals are called), which is legit. But it will not make you a better or more efficient…

Mitch retiring won’t do anything. Even though Kentucky has a democratic governor, the law there says a GQP person has to be appointed.

I did 2 mintues of googling and found that Mike Miles was appointed by a state agency (Texas Education Agency, a misnomer if I ever heard one) and not by residents in the area he’s supposedly serving. Seems about normal for a GQP state.

One of the best parts about biking is that it’s not a strain on your joints - which is particularly nice when you’re overweight. Other nice things is saving money on gas if you’re able to bike commute.

I concur. The first season, while excellent sci-fi, did not feel like Star Trek and left a lot of bad impressions (plus, dare I say the usual backlash for a female lead? Yes, I dare - because Janeway IS better than Picard). The subsequent seasons have absolutely felt like Trek and still tell the story well.

But she’ll get away with it because of course she will.

The previous seasons are available for purchase, if you don’t want to shell out for monthly streaming charges, too.
