Snowed in with my guy and my cat....who have spent a lot of time snuggling today :) Making Coq au vin and the house smells amazing....hope everyone else stuck inside is having a cozy evening!

Big week of anniversary moments to celebrate for me...two years of sobriety as of last Tuesday, which is the same day I left my ex two years ago (funny how the urge to drink left me as soon as I left him!)...signed the official separation papers today and should be completely divorced by March!! :)

My cat is very picky about her box and litter....my guy got her a covered litter box and filled it with scented litter....next thing I know she’s peeing on the bed! Took the lid off, hoping that would solve the problem, but nope. Finally got her an open box with unscented scoopable litter and the problem seems to be…

Lots of Doctor Who swag...the boyfriend went a little nuts at Hot Topic and I love him for it! He also indulged my love of large, verging on tacky necklaces with three of those. He even got me a card from my cat...definitely one of the best hauls since childhood :)

The Doctor Who Christmas special was fantastic....going to watch again at midnight! Any other Jezzie-Whovians watch it tonight?

Having a lovely semi solitary Christmas. Boyfriend came over just before midnight and we did our gift exchange then...he got me a nice bunch of Doctor Who stuff and the sweater I made for him actually fit and looked very good on him! Up until 3 am then up again at 7 to do some baking for him to take to his parents…

Mmmmmmmmm....bread pudding....made dark chocolate cinnamon bread pudding for my boyfriend to take to his parents house...and made an extra one that I’m currently enjoying :)

Not Jewish....but doing the nerdy stay at home version of the classic Jewish Christmas....Chinese food and a Doctor Who marathon! Christmas with the boyfriend was at midnight and I got so many Doctor Who gifts....so I’m dressed very appropriately for my plans! Very Merry to everyone :)

Got the raise I asked for three weeks ago...plus a promotion!! Went all out on holiday decorations for my room to celebrate...the cat doesn’t know what to think about the tree yet lol

Don’t knit...but currently crocheting a sweater for my boyfriend for Christmas....plus an afghan for me....the nice thing I got the yarn on clearance plus my employee discount!!
