Patrick,
Patrick,
But the real question is does it feel any different than the old Ridgeline? We know the Ridgeline is different than any other truck out there but so was the old one. What I want to know is does it take all the great aspects of my 2009 and improve on the ones that were so-so?
I know they are using Fox Shocks but who did the valve tuning, Ford or Fox? I assume Fox didn’t just say these are the ones you should use but how close did the two work on it? I know it is an offroad truck but my only complaint with the earlier models were the body roll caused it to feel floaty in the turns. I’m not…
Just got back from a 90 minute drive around town in my ‘79 Spitfire. Contemplating selling it since I don’t trust it to go too far out of town and definitely not over our harbor bridge. That feeling/smell/sense of speed changes my mind every time I get in it and this video sums it up well.
I was there in the turn 4 bleachers, amazing to see the speed and grip in person, especially when compared to the Porsche Supercup cars. Also saw this Caswell sticker on the walk-over bridge.
Wild guess here did you happen to get inspiration from Tosh on that portion of the video? Not calling you out or anything, I genuinely enjoy your content so far (even though I applied for the job too). But that was the first thing I thought of when you said it.
Patrick,
This would go good with a fried-egg headlight.
It appears this design was pre-liquid cooled, all air-cooled baby!
I love how Porsche can take a timeless design like the waffle, massage, tweak, and enhance it without going away from what the waffle used to be. You can really see the nod the the traditional line of the waffle while making it sleek yet masculine without ruining the effectiveness it has on balancing out breakfast.…
Man that guy in the maroon shirt sounds like Pat Goss, especially at 1:23. “Next up on Goss’ Garage, we show you how NOT to clean up after the storm! Stay tuned for more - Motorweek.”
What happened to the last application process? Must have fell through or you dialed my number wrong, I never heard back. Kinja’d
Geez, “is is”? That’s what I get for posting from still laying in bed... now I can’t edit.
More pictures might help his sale.
Great video by Massa but man is Ricciardo the most likable guy in sports.
Matt, enjoy the “Will it baby?” articles, can we get a little insight to what the significant other thinks as if it were your primary vehicle? Maybe approve or disapprove or even a quick guest writer’s paragraph on their thoughts... Would be handy when going up against the wife why a Cayman GT4 would be the ultimate…
Took my wife fishing near Corpus Christi to a spot I went to as a kid growing up there. Normally my dad would park off the street and we would walk a few hundred yards to the shore and fish from there. Now that I was grown up and had that off-road beast you see up there, I decided there was no need to walk, I could…
I bought a V10 Touareg from a VW dealership who gave me a 2 yr 24k mile plan for ~$2000 so far 6 months later only problem was the A/C compressor which was $2200 covered under warranty $0 deductible. So its hard to say if the A/C was a fluke but I’ve put 12k miles on it already and no other problems. Completely worth…
Looks like the Fiat just told a naughty joke and every other car around it has the new MINI face:
