It seems to me that the producers were purposefully looking for an actress that looked more western. If they wanted a girl that looked fully asian there are tons of very talented asian actresses who speak english just fine to choose from. I just think its unfair is all.

@fearing: I think she looks like a white girl that they tried to make look asian. Which i think is odd because usually asian genes are dominant so half asian half white people usually end up looking more asian than white. In this case however she looks pretty damn caucasian.
