I just (like five days ago) started Retin-A Micro! And HOLY WHOA that shit starts doing its thing, like, immediately. I’ve already had a minor “purge,” and now here come the flakes. Ohhhhh the flakes. So, so many tiny flakes. Flakes on my chin, flakes under my eyes, flakes on my cheeks, flakes around my nose. :(

I wish I could wear light coloured nail varnish. I only paint my toes because I play an assortment of stringed instruments and anything on my fingernails chips as soon as I’ve put it on, but anything that’s not black or burgundy looks wrong. Possibly because I’m an angsty goth at heart. If Chanel ever discontinue

Never underestimate the power of a good routine! I have two (one for the morning and one for the evening) plus I give myself a facial once a week and use a good exfoliant as part of my evening routine every three days. I don’t wear any foundation (I intensely dislike the texture of cream on my face, I only use serums

I have seen some significant improvement with DE’s C-Firma. I love it and am curious about their new product, Protini. The Lala moisturizer is too heavy for me.

Thanks for the tips! I don’t know if I can keep up the upkeep though my schedule is jam packed and its rare that I take time for myself.

I hear good things about drunk elephant! I need to impose some austerity measures myself, lol

On my last incursion on a mall I got into Sephora and fell in love with their eyeliners! I bought a purple shade and it lasts forever on my lids! I also got a couple of highlighters from Nyx and they are excellent! I just love to put on color and sparkle on my face, it makes my day so much better!

Nice color! I splurged for one of the kabuki brushes last month with my Ulta points and I really like it.

I’ve been on a weird orange eyeshadow kick lately! It’s weird for me because I usually *hate* the color orange, but I’ve been wearing a ton of it the past couple of weeks.

Liberator wedges can be knee and back savers for both parties....and bonus - they make great reading backrests when not engaged in their primary purpose!

Same. I got it the first week that the Pharmacy was advertising them. Also, they are free (well, covered by our universal healthcare) here in Canada. You have to fill out a form to ‘justify’ it, but it is easy to select a reason that you should get one.

I really tried to get mine in November during my “10-minute” break at work, but the parking lot at my clinic was FULL. Since I spent basically all of that time circling the parking lot, I didn’t find time to go again until I got a text saying “Hey!!! We’re doing flu shots at X hospital location on Saturday from 8:30 -

I couldn’t tell at first but now I’m convinced it was sarcasm. Like the commenter was trying to say, “white people love to talk about how we’re the most victimized! We don’t shut up about it!!!” It was just sorta hard to tell.

I just read some of your replies. I apologize for being quick to judge.

Ugh. My 3yo hasn’t discovered his yet and I’m fine with that. There’s already sooo much chatter about his ‘peensh.’

It doesn’t get any better with age. My 14yo recently regaled the family with this joke at the dinner table:

I mean, no lies detected. (I assume.)

Another Niko! My 6-year-old Siberian (Also named Niko) out running on a frozen lake.

This is Xochtil. Keeping warmth over me when I was sick a few months ago.

Kale? In stuffing?
