It’s sad that we’re relieved the PD made a perfectly reasonable statement.
Of course the PD is glad this guy is going away, because he’s a criminal. Having a predator in your midst, when trying to protect people from animals like this, is a specifically awful feeling. I’m glad that OKC made a statement like this.

From my brief time covering court proceedings I can tell you right now that in his mind, he did nothing wrong. All the victims wanted it and are lying, in his mind. He can’t believe the jury “fell for it.” All monsters feel pity, but only for themselves.
