It goes back to the first “first person” games mostly being flight simulators; you got used to “flight” controls of pulling back (down) to go up and pushing forward (up) to go down. This carried over to games like Wing Commander and Descent as most full range of motion shooters back in the day placed you in a vehicle.

You forgot to include the timeline of VC injections to keep them afloat...because, you know, not making money isn’t good for a company and that’s the one thing Tesla is GREAT at.

Apple spent a small (large) fortune to populate the “Arcade” with some really good games...but it’s all kinda disingenuous. At some point they won’t want to lose money on it anymore and they won’t keep paying developers to exclusive their games to their “Arcade”.
