I didn't mind Predators that much. I mean it doesn't hold up to the original at all, but it's still a pretty fun Sci-Fi movie.

I've done this multiple times with Comcast. I tend to always have their broadband internet, but I consider the cable TV a luxury. I usually sign up for it and get a god deal for 6 months, and then call to cancel when the 6 months are up. Then they offer me another deal, but usually not ask good to keep me on. Repeat

The picture for this article is just fantastic. I can't wait until the movie.

There was a Better Off Ted episode about this exact thing.

A big issue that I've run into before: Is your new job making you relocate to a new city/state? If so make sure to give yourself enough time to find a place to live, work out the details of the move, and hopefully even some time for unpacking and setting up your place. I had an employer who wanted me to move across

I see nothing about which version of Android it will run. Any chance of Ice Cream Sandwich?

Exactly. The traditional user interface is fine until I click the start menu and it sends me back into touchscreen land. Finding a program in that screen with a mouse actually takes way more time than finding it in the old start menu.

Didn't HP lay off a bunch of the Palm people that worked on webOS pretty soon after buying palm? And then they couldn't figure out how to do much with the software? Thumbs up their own asses.

I've been using the Dev preview of 8 and honestly I like 7 a lot better so far. 8 just doesn't feel like an OS that is intended to be used on non-touchscreen computers. I'm sure it's kickass on tablets.

I would add a cordless electric drill/driver. It's probably the most used tool I own.

Awesome, thanks!

More like ultrabooks are the new laptops.

Exactly. Apple runs a popular music store and finally gets around to adding cloud storage after people ask for it for YEARS, and they get a big old pat on the back. Google launches a service that has that feature on day one, and now it's "old technology".

I read a pretty great time-travel short story a few years ago that I've totally forgotten the name and author of. Basically this guy is a type of time-cop from the far future that is sent to monitor and control reckless time travelers from less far in the future. The problem is that there are some robots sent from

yeah cygwin seems like overkill for a little todo app. It's a lot of hoops to jump through just to sync a text file.

Because Batman's parents are dead.

I'm pretty sure hardware manufacturers would not love it. Android handset makers could just leave the OS UI the way it is, which is what most people prefer, but instead they muck with it to try to set themselves apart from the competition. Apple won't even use the same ports as anyone else in most cases.

Seriously. Live sports (specifically coverage of my favorite teams) are the only thing keeping me with cable.

I'm pretty sure Jason Chen is on the Lifehacker team now.

So that solidifies it. I'm getting a kindle now.
