Still very comfortable. Manages 700+ miles on long haul trips (over 40 mpg). Glad I like the car, because being buried under this mountain of negative equity I’ve created means it’s not going anywhere.
Korean car, built in Alabama, parked outside an Indian restaurant with a giant American flag painted on to it.
Hello oppo, I’ve been absent for a while so I figured I’d update.
Is there a safe way to convert Ford’s 4x108 bolt pattern to 4x100, which has about three million more aftermarket wheel options?
Averaged 53 MPG (calculated) from Pensacola to Ft. Worth. Above Amarillo, high winds and increasing elevation cut it down to about 45. So far the little 3cyl is handling the mountains well, but I’ve definitely noticed a drop in power versus what I’m used to at sea level. Here’s a few pics.
This is what 2 years and 14,000 miles will do to an air filter (I’m confident it’s the original)
Im 22 years old and this is my 13th car. It’s odd how something so cheap and small has already become one of my favorites.
The Fiesta was supposed to be a more snow and winter worthy DD for when I move to Colorado. But I enjoy driving it more than the Mustang. Now I feel like I should sell the Mustang, but if I do, I’ll surely miss it in the future...
Imagine a car that expertly balances refinement and frugality like spices and hops in craft beer. The 2015 Fiesta SFE is the Unibroue of cars.
If I were to take the Quest with me to Colorado Springs, what is the likelihood that the CVT would grenade under 100k miles? I only ask because I don’t trade in for the Fiesta ecoboost until the 21st and want to make sure I’ve considered everything. That said, even if the general consensus is that it’s sturdy, the…
On Monday, it’s going down. My roommate is looking for a new car and I’ve begged him to let me teach him how to drive a manual, lest he buy an automatic MX-5 or FR-S. we’ve had two previous lessons a year apart, one in my old Sentra and one in my Mustang. and he was picking it up pretty quickly but never got into…
I just bought a car, from start to finish the process took all of fifteen minutes.
It only took a little over two months. Great job, Florida DMV.
Side note, with the rack stored in the trunk I averaged 35 MPG driving over 500 miles from one side of Florida to the other on Monday!
Almost three months in to owning my 2013 Gotta Have it Green V6 Mustang (6-speed). Swapped out the wheels for lightweight 17" alloys, got body color painted side mirrors and a shorty antenna from American Muscle. I also swapped out the stock shifter for a bright red cue ball and added stainless steel door locks.
It has been replaced by this wonderful 2013 Mustang. More than double the horsepower, an extra pedal, waaay more fun. And green. Lots and lots of green.
