I’ve been saying it for the past 12 months: it’s a marketing stunt gone horribly, horribly awry. Absolutely nothing has happened in the past year that’s changed my mind.

Last week Full Frontal had a former policy advisor on. He said an entire team had been hired to help Trump’s campaign come up with policies, and this man, although a conservative, was also a moderate and joined hoping that he could keep things more even keeled than the batshittery that the campaign was spewing.
The problem that I see with this is that you equate treating you with civility - treating you as human - as treating you like you’re white. What would “treating you like you’re black” entail? Never mind. Don’t answer that.
Fuck, dude. Great writing, shitty situation.
So. I haven’t really said anything about this dumpster fire of an election to anyone, because I’m a suburban black guy who manages an office of white staff. People think I’m white on the phone until they hear my name. I have a white wife and kids who pass.
‘Facts’ don’t matter for most people when it comes to stuff like this. They’ll just blame the lying media or biased websites if they don’t just outright ignore it.
nah
Stupid people, lazy people, poor people, unreasonable people, people without access to transportation, people who have never learned where to go or what to do...
Thanks for these facts, now I know for a surety Trump is a Klansmen?!?!
We’re not talking about “don’t know how to get a birth certificate,” we’re talking about “are unable to obtain a birth certificate” or “are unable to obtain a birth certificate without significant hassle - without needing to travel, without needing to take yet another day off from work, without needing to pay yet…
Um, Trump having zero track record in government is (or should be) a negative.
With the KKK coming out in support of Trump, I think the nuance is not “Are Trump supports all white supremacists” that at the end of the day, even those who are not still voted *with* white supremacists.
And if they truly want to keep their claims to being against white supremacists, at the end of the day they will…
Additionally, Trump is part of Romney’s 47%...
Trump said things two things worse per week than Romney’s 47% comment.
Yes. And/or racists.
Yeah, I’m gonna need a minute before I start looking to my neighbor on the left or right as a potential ally in the fight for a ‘better’ tomorrow. This shit is soul-crushing.
I leave you with this: The fact that a majority of the voters thought Trump was the “lesser” of two “evils” is far more disturbing than any issues they had or imagine they had.
“Because I understand how some people felt that means I have empathy? Ridiculous. I’m not excusing their vote but if you can’t understand their reasoning then how do you expect to get their vote? Understanding where someone is coming from =/= excusing someones behavior.”
You do realize some people are lost causes,…
“Why can’t we just use nukes?”
I voted for Bernie in the primary. I moved on. You should have done the same.
