I don’t get the joke.
That she found a much older man isn’t the story here. It’s that the much older man happens to be Jon Lovitz. And that they teased out the big reveal over several meticulously crafted Instagram posts.
...“Lazy Sunday” aired in the winter of 2005. I remember it vividly. I watched SNL cross-legged on the floor of my parents’ family room and watched, mouth agape. It was like nothing I had seen before, but in fairness, I was 14.
I looked at the list of things coming to Netflix this April and felt a hope... some of them are pretty good movies or TV shows.
I haven’t stopped laughing at this
It may be controversial for people to have abortions based on whether or not their fetus has Down’s syndrome, but it should be more than just controversial to force anyone to bear a child they don’t feel they are able to care for, regardless of the potential child’s disability or lack of one. Forcing anyone to bear a…
A physical and/or intellectual disability pretty much covers them all. I wonder how Indiana rates on funding for special ed/ED classes and services in schools? And how about lifetime support services for the disabled. Because disabled kids grow up to be disabled adults who might need a huge range of services,…
I used to work for a company that administered guardianships and trusts primarily for disabled individuals. A significant percentage of parents of severely disabled children just can’t deal with it. A significant percentage of disabled children get abandoned, neglected, or abused as a result. And the really depressing…
It mandates that women be required to bury or cremate the fetus post-termination
In well-funded school districts teachers have adequate prep periods. In other words, when your child is in music, PE, art, or computer class, their teacher is planning and preparing lessons. In less affluent districts they may not have enrichment programs, or only have them on a rotating basis. When there are fewer…
The sad thing is that teachers at private schools-more often than not-make less than public school teachers.
Somewhat, but I think he is mainly supporting Anyone But Trump because the GOP is terrified that if they don’t run a “True Conservative” candidate at the top of the ballot many of their voters won’t show up in November and they’ll be massacred down-ballot.
After you become a super user within the MRA community they upgrade your fedora to that monstrosity.
Even something non-foolish can earn the wrath of the internet. I discovered that when I won a Viking range. Viking posted a congratulatory post on their Facebook page along with my picture. You wouldn’t believe some of the shit people posted. Several “wow, she’s so ugly” comments and lots that were worse than that.…
Eh, I'd believe it. The Internet always has people willing to send death threats over anything.
Interesting. I thought Jessica Jones got better as it went.
My kid is a constant drain on my time and attention when she’s awake, but once she is asleep for the night, watching a movie in peace is not a problem. That’s why this kind of system would be nice. . . we can put her to bed, settle in on the couch, and watch a new release.
Agreed. Going to see a movie isn’t about “leaving the house and the kids.” It’s about seeing a movie. This is a great deal and I would gladly pay $50 if I lived in an area without movie theaters that offer reserved seating.
I’d go a different route that physically charging people - I’d pay for the movie and ask that guests bring dinner/wine/beer. That way if you have 3 couples each end up paying about the same and you get dinner, movie, drinks, and maybe dessert for $50 a couple. That’s a steal.
