It would look like this...

Is the truck in Super 8 clip the one that derails the train? I mean, I guess it would have to be like a 100,000 pound pickup made from depleted uranium to do that to a train, but the cabin and driver staying that intact?

It would make some sense to practice in the rain if they also ran qualifying rain or shine at bizzaro-world Indy.

Group B didn't have to worry about IndyCar cornering speeds and loads.

A more accurate caption would be "Dick in a Boss." Just sayin'.

I can suspend my disbelief for giant fighting robots from space, but not for the idea that the government could manage to keep anything giant-fighting-robot- from-space-related secret after the events of the first two films.

I think it has been tried in F1, because this is in the regs:

Sir, you just need a new (water-cooled) alternator. That'll be $950... plus labor.

Looks kinda like a Golf on Lambos.

The Mini Countryman S has a 1.6L turbo engine and AWD. 2011 WRC cars have 1.6L turbo engines and AWD. Good for marketing.

I was going to say they were following the BMW example, but when these two are together I can tell actually them apart.

Axle shaft!

The big advantage to this setup is that it's such a bad idea the race organizers are willing to bend the rules for him.

Why was all of the music from the future too? Did Dr. Jon Hamm unknowingly destroy one of the greatest creative minds of our time?

I can't even remember why I wanted to see this anymore. Why does Babydoll have to imagine herself and her team of hit-girls killing endless waves of steampunk-Nazis and orcs and robots to help get herself though... dancing for people? Why didn't we actually get to actually SEE this hypnotic dance anyway? Why is it

@Mack41: They announced a few months back that full races would be available for two weeks after the race on ESPN3.com and all season on americanlemans.com. The ESPN deal was "adjusted" and not for the better on Wednesday, so I'm not sure if that's still correct.
