Turbodiesel six cylinder hybrid, please.

@hewlett_jordan1: Nice. Technically I'm still 22,000 miles/35,000 kilometers ahead, though.

@Smeagol92055: They could just pull a Judge Dredd...

Best I've got, not exactly funny.

@LieutenantDan: I think there's been a transporter accident.

If there's a chance Ray Wert could show up in your parking lot, your car should be wearing protection.

How about just building the new Continental on a heavy-duty truck frame with a giant turbodiesel engine?

Ray, how would you you define "meeting the deadline"? Pushed the send button at about 6:01 PM last night and I'm a little concerned I didn't make it. I'm also concerned that my article isn't very good, but that's another matter entirely.

@compOsvt: SCORE is the Baja 1000 sanctioning body. There's no comparing this to desert endurance racing.

@yoda2: That's the plan.

@oneDRTYrusn: The track looks like Martinsville, but the on-track action looks like Dega.

Murilee, I would just like to thank you for inspiring me to build my own stupid projects from junkyard parts. You will be missed, and stuff.

I bring Torx bits to the junkyard. Six of them.

@Wunno Sev: $17 for a single gauge? I've pulled whole instrument clusters for $25 apiece.

If The Good Guys were a documentary, nobody would've been fired this week despite disobeyed orders, ignored protocol and massive property damage.

@Ray Wert: It would have to read you Jalopnik articles and/or comments for that to really work... Not sure if that would be awesome or just distracting.

@Matt White: And don't those people usually retain the drivetrain's original orientation?

@ccarey3: If you install it backwards, won't you get 5 reverse gears?
