*HEAD A SPLODE*
@Fauxhemian: As a spectator, yes.
@Fauxhemian: Entry applications close next Saturday, so... I'm probably not.
@Remus Suciu: Chevy Europe!
Is denim now a gang color?
@Triborough: It's a long-wheelbase 240D. He must've died trying to get to 60 MPH.
@buick61: We have a winner! Thank you for calling.
@Motor_Yakuza: The R8 GT, Ferrari F458, and McLaren MP4-12C all lack a little soul for only being available with robotized, flappy-paddle gearboxes. Where's my snick-snick action?
Great. I'm halfway through building an arc reactor and now I have to make a TRON suit?
@Whowhatwhere Kane: The 'vette actually has drive-by-wire now.
Real men steer with the throttle.
@two wheels are enough: Ecclestone proposed a street race in Manhattan in the '80s, and CART did the same in '93, but neither plan ever got off the ground because of political opposition. It'd be a logistical nightmare anyway.
@Carplanetzøne1 - Cømment. Like. A. Bøss.: Some of the grafitti is rather unforunate.
@$kaycog: Congratulations! GM is sending you to China to pick up your car, a 2002 Buick Sail which has been specially fitted with a 1.0L 3-cylinder engine and an automatic transmission! You will then drive it across Asia and Europe to the Nürburgring... if you can find it! Good luck!
@JuanOxido: Not enough car to contain that BMW M Power, I guess.
Argh. SUVs are like safety blankets for certain adults, but companies founded on building SUVs that are actually useful and off-road capable shouldn't actually embrace that!
@blackfriday490: In 1990, you could get the ZR-1 'vette, the fatter but faster Z32 Nissan 300ZX, the NSX, and the JC Mazda Cosmo. Though, I guess those aren't really low-cost options.
@gankit: Murilee describes the rally as being in the California Melee tradition, so it's a road rally, yeah. They actually only built 67 850s in 1989, so procuring one might be difficult.
