It is too bad that when you play FFXIV, you feel like you are paying to play a single player game for 99% of the content. So good job on making housing feel like a world when the rest of the game doesn’t.

Final Fantasy XIV is no longer a good game. It has not been since before 3.0. The game has excellent source material and is executed very poorly. Decisions about this game are made to please a minority of whiny players. The end-game community is a joke, and Square Enix continuously falls flat on their face when

Kaplan isn’t as bright or smart as he would have you believe. He’s overpaid and doesn’t belong in the position. He’s way too sensitive and he makes poor decisions. They way he talked about trying to correct the toxic community was as if no game had ever encountered a toxic player base before - like he was genuinly

I don’t play WoW, but I didn’t think that movie was the worst video game movie either. Maybe that’s because I don’t play WoW?

I’m going to watch it right now because you said this. And then maybe Kingsglaive after that.

Advent Children is fun to watch. It’s got great over the top battles, just like you should expect from Final Fantasy. It’s got a good sound track. You just hating. You either aren’t a fan of FF7 or Final Fantasy in general, or you are the kind of fan that sets these insanely high expectations of what you want to see

Kingsglaive was really good. Advent Children was very good action eye candy too. Spirits Within had a top notch voice cast - forget about James Woods.. Alec Baldwin and Steve Buschemi were in there too! But the movie wasn’t as fun to watch as the other two from Square Enix.

A Metroid series like this would be dope.

Best comment on Kotaku in a long time... maybe ever.

I love PlayOnline. It had awesome music and was a great idea for the time it was released. It had awesome commercials that really made you want to play online with your friends. It was a game launcher before anyone else had one, it was news and it was a community. Don’t blame PlayOnline for Brady making bad guides,

That isn’t fair to sports. It is “professional sports” that carries the drama. I’ve played sports for more than 30 years, and still play - not a lot of drama at the amateur level, and when there is, they just get made fun of by everyone else and it stops.

I can’t wait to see what his excuse will be the next time he does something stupid. How many times can this guy apologize?

Revenue *is* a social concern. You’re an idiot.

When you make bad jokes using racism (like how he used Nazis or how he casually uses the “n-word”) then you are being racist, whether you know it or not or are intentionally trying to hurt and an entire race of people or not. It is as simple as that. He can come out with a another video pleading with his audience

Give me a break. I’ve yet to see someone actually give their life for this. And don’t throw enlisted military personnel at me. They aren’t giving their lives so people can use hate speech. No one will give their life so someone else can use the “n-word”, that is just absurd and you know it. “Free speech” was never

You’re an idiot. I recommend you stay off the Internet until you get that fixed.

If AAA studios weren’t making money off video games, they wouldn’t be making video games. This really comes down to management. Video game studios have notoriously poor managers. Many studios are a rotating door for employees with people constantly coming and going. They do not do a great job of keeping (quality)

How do you think they pay for those fancy voice actors. And I’m sure they are already preparing to re-record entire content when they switch voice actors (again).

Here is a counterpoint. Everyone likes to make money, right? Doesn’t matter what country you are from or what the culture is like. Japanese people like money. Americans like money. Russians like money. Pakistanis like money. Hey Japan - you aren’t making as much money off titles like this when you think you know

One of the biggest selling points of the PS3 when it came out was that it was the cheapest blu-ray player on the market at the time. This is not really that unusual. We should all be more surprised that Microsoft didn’t borrow that play from Sony. Maybe Microsoft is still bitter about HD-DVD losing the war.
