It makes sense. I think it would be a lot more difficult for the parents to successfully petition for an injunction or something like that since their daughter is no longer a student there, and I’m not sure how strong their alumni connection is. Also because institutional change is difficult to monitor. Hitting the

They did ask for monetary damages. The original WSJ article was written a bit opaquely—what the WSJ meant is that the parents didn’t specify the exact amount, just that it be >$75k.

I can’t access the WSJ article, but HuffPo published the complaint that was filed on Wednesday (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/lawsuit-…) and the parents are definitely asking for monetary damages, not an injunction or a dec judgment.

IDK what you mean, deep-fried haggis is a treasure.

The state representatives are Michael Scott without the heart.

“extraordinary couple who . . .”

But like . . . what if we did this for literally every situation and entry into the workforce where legislatively possible? Also, maybe we could do this earlier. Like, say, when we educate children.

I can’t wait for this to fail miserably.
