Sigh.
Sigh.
Well said! I feel the same. I said in a reply elsewhere in this thread, but I’m actually more excited for the NEW first-party titles coming from MS than I am for the sequels to existing (albeit awesome) franchises coming from Sony. And yeah, I totally get that better “feeling” in the Xbox ecosystem. It’s weird, but…
I feel the exact same way. The only time Sony seems to ever make genuine consumer-friendly changes seems to be when MS does something first (free games for subscribers, username changes, etc) or they are forced to do something by consumer pressure (e.g. crossplay). Those are just a few examples, but I have never…
Yeah this is totally valid, and I think a lot more people are in this group that some would like to admit.
Actually, it’s the non-franchise games that have me most excited about the Xbox game line-up. Horizon is fine, Gears was extremely disappointing (both 4 and 5), and “open-world Halo” certainly has me intrigued. But I’m looking a lot more forward to the odd games coming out of the various studios MS has acquired. I…
Keep in mind that when I say “just fine” I do not mean “just as well.” Not everyone has extra cash to blow (especially these days), and the idea of playing “next-gen” games on current hardware certainly is enticing to a lot more people than I think most of us realize. Most people are not concerned with 60+fps or full…
Ok maybe “bothering” wasn’t the right word. I’m not losing sleep over these concerns haha. It’s just more confusing that anything.
Thanks for the correction (I assume a dozen other people will reply with the same thing heh). I can’t imagine the Demon Souls remake not coming to PC at some point, but I suppose that could be years away like with HZD. But your point about “proofreading” also speaks to how messy Sony’s messaging/marketing has been for…
It’s refreshing to see an article actually acknowledge two things that have been bothering me:
As much as I appreciate Microsoft’s better handling of their next-gen launch (in more ways than just this), I assume it’s going to be the same shitshow as the PS5 preorders. It’s 2020, and for some reason major online retailers still haven’t figured out a way to handle high-traffic events, with the exeption of Amazon…
His skits making fun of Magic with his own cow/cheese version absolutely KILL me... and I don’t even play Magic!
So incredibly disappointed this won’t be on iOS. In general I don’t have any issues with Apple’s App Store policies (most of them are basically the same as what Google does with Android), but the idea that streaming games needs to be handled any different than streaming video is silly. They don’t make Netflix or Hulu…
Easily my favorite Halo campaign, and the only one I actually recommend playing solo rather than with friends. It’s also the closest thing we got to “open-world Halo” back in the day.
She is awesome. Easily one of my favorite voice actors. Absolutely LOVED her as Tiny Tina, but she has incredible range in her other characters. Just recently picked up Horizon for PC, and am blown away by her work there.
Ok the fact that her desk is too high for her really bugs me. Like, they went to all the work to mo-cap her in a wheel chair (kudos)... then didn’t put a single thought into the area she works in? Or as you said, they didn’t think to put any other ramps anywhere? Seems really half-assed for the work they obviously put…
Ok that’s actually pretty damn funny if you would be able to play through the entire game, taking down giant machine monsters, as a kid!
I just got a new PC and decided to dive into HZD myself. Yeah, I’m never finishing this game because half my time is spent taking photos.
Oh for sure. If a few popular streamers experience it, it’s accepted as fact regardless of reality. I am definitely curious about the whole matchmaking theory though, regardless of the results.
Reminds me of all the hate towards yellow players in Pokemon GO. Why does everyone need to hate on yellow? It’s a good color!
Has this been confirmed? I’ve seen this rumored, and while it make sense to describe why the yellow team loses so much (of course solo randos are going to lose to team stacks), it also seems like a really poor design choice. I’m glad it’s turned into a fun meme, but I do hope that the devs plan on fixing it to balance…
