It is overwhelmingly a bad design, but that doesn’t mean people can’t enjoy it! God bless those who find a way to make that thing work in their current entertainment setup.

I’ll wait for an all-black version so it looks slightly less bad... but oof that looks lame as hell. Might have been considered “cool” a decade ago?

It warms my heart to see the “gamer” community coming around on this. Or rather, perhaps the majority have always been this way, but it’s the damn vocal minority that sets the stereotype for everyone else. Either way it’s encouraging, and it’s not easy to find positivity in everything going on that past few years.

Excellent. Now the the rest of online games, please.

Honestly, the amount of love shown and “BLM” in the chat during this vastly outweighed anything else. I was extremely surprised.

The Travis Scott photoshop got me good.

Yeah...I think Apple Arcade does have some really good games, and I still play 1 or 2 a month, but stuff like this doesn’t get me excited, whether or not it uses a popular show.

While this guide said that HBO Max will be separate, I just received an email from HBO regarding my HBO NOW subscription that says this:

This was absolutely fascinating - even for someone like me who has never played an Animal Crossing game. Great work!

I am so happy to see so many smart takes (with plenty of stars) under this article in response to incredibly bad takes on the demo. Thank you.

Damn, every time one of these deals pops up, it’s sold out by the time I wake up on the west coast. RIP

Same. Was hoping for a dark mode more on the app than the desktop version anyways. I hope that’s in the works.

That looks delightful. This game really did come at the perfect time to cheer folks up during everyone’s quarantine. It is VERY much not my type of game, but the joy it’s somehow bringing everyone else is certainly contagious. Happy birthday, Mike!

I whipped up a comparison image to the white One S controller.

In Sacramento, CA, grocery stores are mostly back to normal. That last few times I’ve gone to various grocery stores in the past couple weeks I’ve had no issue getting milk, bread, beef, eggs, and other essentials. Frozen food is still a bit scarce, as are some canned food. Paper towels and TP are a totally different

First off, no one is claiming they’ve forgotten. That is absolutely absurd. As for them deciding to wait to finish plot threads for Destiny 3... remember Halo 2? That game is famous for doing exactly what is happening now. Bungie is absolutely setting up Destiny 3 to be the conclusion of trilogy and an epic fight

Oh man don’t even get me started on Shadowkeep. So much cool build up to absolutely nothing. I mean sure, a raid, cool. But really, we’re going to go INSIDE ONE OF THE PYRAMIDS and then nothing?? It’s obvious Bungie is leading up to new Darkness enemy type in Destiny 3, but ffs don’t use an entire DLC to tease us for

Yeah, the lack of payoff from most of their big stories is frustrating for all but the most hardcore players. I mean, some of the best lore in the franchise was nothing more than outside-of-game grimoir cards?! Bungie has some amazing writing, and creates an incredible universe... then they don’t include most of said

Bungie’s seeming focus on “less story, more grinding” with content is perplexing to me after the success of the Forsaken DLC. Forsaken was filled to brim with story moments, major new content drops, riddles, and other things players really enjoy. Since then, every new “season” has been increasingly light on those

Absolutely agree. Also the fact that the subscription applies to everyone in your iOS “family” - still for just $5 a month total - is amazing. It sucks how people have devalued mobile apps and games since the start of the App Store. Anything over a dollar is “expensive,” regardless of how good it is. Apple Arcade is
