How’s the weather out there on Contrarian Island?

I didn’t understand the hype around Zendaya until I watched Euphoria. Might be one of those situations where you need to see it to understand what people are talking about. 

I’ve never seen the show and have no idea what it’s about but I find it hard to believe that it wouldn’t be improved by the addition of a time travelling detective.

Maybe get rid of the creepy hack Levinson somehow. If the show hinges on him being there, just cancel the damn thing already.

Charlie Berens is a Wisconsin-centric stand-up comic (host of the “Manitowoc Minute” ...which I think is a podcast?). For Wisconsin celebrity, it’s a decent pull.

I had part of my colon removed last month and am having chemo for cancer. I wear a mask everywhere. Fuck Forrie.

He seems to be implying that if the person was wearing a mask, they must have a communicable disease and so he felt unsafe sitting next to them. He himself seems bound and determined to make himself as susceptible to communicable diseases as he possibly can and assumes it is everybody else’s responsibility to keep him…

There’s a weird conservative tendency to think they are being attacked by simply being in a presence of someone who they assume has more liberal values than they do.

I am really, REALLY curious how someone else wearing a mask affects him.

Anyone that is that insistent that they aren’t drunk is absolutely drunk. In other news, what an utter child. 

I think Pitt was an abusive husband during the end of the marriage due to his addiction, and he’s not that kind of person in sobriety (at least to that degree).

If you’re a recovering alcoholic, maybe you shouldn’t own a winery? Sam Malone was a fantasy fiction character.

What was refreshing was seeing the most obnoxious contestant get the boot straightaway. 

It astounds me that he continues to face no repercussions for his alleged abuse of Jolie and a child. If this were anyone else, his career would be dead. But, it’s okay because he’s fun at the Oscars and she’s a screeching harpy I guess..

This looks/sounds very cool. Definitely interested in seeing it. I’m trying to find a good comparison for Dastmalchian’s recent rise to “odd-looking character actor who always delivers,” and I think I’ve landed on “he’s the new Steve Buscemi.”

I’m not a lawyer, but that sounds rock solid to me.

Kristen was excellent as host. I knew she’d be a great choice to replace Padma.

if I was Charlize Theron, I’d be pissed. When Fury Road came out, everyone fell in love with her character and was clamoring for more.

I hate saying this, but I’m not very excited...the leads feel off to me. It’s George Miller, but it feels, kinda rote? I say this as a fan of all the Mad Max and Babe takes he’s made. This just feels thinner.

One the one hand I’m a bit nervous about this being the first Mad Max movie that carries any sort of lore from another, and the increased reliance on CGI raises my hackles when I think of how Miller thrives with physical effects/props/sets.
