yeah i think that’s the distinction between the apatow style and linklaters. they both aim for a sweetness and hit it more than the average high school comedies ever did, but linklater would have let the friendship breathe more.

One thing I personally like about the movie is that it is actually positive and upbeat towards the characters. Mitch is a completely unremarkable kid who Pink takes under his wing because Pink is a genuinely nice guy, in addition to being the star QB. Mitch gets a pass from his parents for staying out late. the spiritual sequel, everybody wants some!!, is also terrific (and if you catch me on the right day i maybe even like it a little more).

I basically came here just to say fuck him for basically creating the sexist foundation of the rock vs pop debate because he was a John Lennon fanboy that wanted to separate the music he liked from what women liked.

A lot of people on social media have refused to accept this win and insist on continuing to attack her, and guys, really just stop. What incentive is anyone ever going to have to reverse course from a bad decision like this again if it doesn’t change anything about their reputation? Let’s just focus on how Bill Maher

You can be anti Bill Willingham and anti “Big Mean Corporation™”.

Since the article weirdly doesn’t mention anything about it: Willingham is a woman-hating far right asshole who was a huge industry insider for the Comicgate people, and Fables includes stuff like Snow White being forcibly impregnated by the Big Bad Wolf when they’re both drugged, who then refuses to let her have an

nah they didn’t show her at all, hard to watch a movie about a hero when they don’t even have the courage to stand up for one of their cast members.

I have never seen a single episode and I strongly suspect this is the most interesting aspect of the series. The insane petty soap opera ongoing.

She’s a fucking actress/celebrity. Did you think she was going to go off and, like, lay bricks or something?

Yeah, the final episode was simultaneously crammed and anticlimactic and the multiple codas felt like tacked-on afterthoughts.

The moment that was foreshadowed earlier in the season, with Raylan killing Clement because he was sure he was being drawn on, seems to have had little effect on him, which drains it of all its

Or maybe just feeling productive is good for mental health.

and, of course, we use all words and terms exactly the same way as we did 100 years ago.

That’s great and all, but it doesn’t matter for several reasons, the first being that this is a basic review of a streaming tv show on a media site gutted by investor vultures.  Get a grip.

“[In the past] you could joke about a bigot and have a laugh—that was hysterical. And it was about educating people on how ridiculous people were. And now we’re not allowed to do that.”

That’s right, you’re not. My friends and I did that all the time in the 90s, saying something racist to lampoon racism. But here’s the

The only reason someone should return an acting award is if it turns out it’s not actually their performance, somewhat like Milli Vanilli and their Grammy. This obviously hasn’t happened yet, and isn’t likely to any time soon, but I suppose we could get to a point where actors are replaced with computer generated

I mean, I’m glad he said it...but we all know this is exactly what’s going to happen. And then in 5-7 years, we’ll hear complaints from WB execs scratching their heads wondering why they just had a series of toy-based movies that flopped.

I always generally liked Statham, but Spy really made me appreciate him.

Something about this just doesn’t sit right with me. I mean, when have affluent white Christians ever been known to exploit people they think are lesser than them for the sake of their own egos and financial gain?

Probably a big Morgan Wallen fan.
