Thanks a lot.  Now I have chocolate syrup all over my shower.

Why can it not be a sacred piece of history?

You know he said “represents... greedy,” right?  He didn’t say it is greedy.  I swear...

So you’re assuming the people that are complaining are just one single player who wants to play multiple towns by themselves and not people with multiple kids or spouses that want to play their own separate town?

Huh? My response was more than just “you can visit towns.” Also, memory cards are swappable and purchasable. No one would be complaining about that.  Man, you are stretching now.

That was not the intent of GC Animal Crossing. In fact, the manual has a few points that make it apparent that it was intended for multiple towns.

It was certainly designed both ways.  Nintendo could have specially coded the game to only work with an Animal Crossing branded memory card by putting information on the card that couldn’t be replicated by the average person.  The way the original games were made, people expected to be able to have more than one

Not really.  If any of the previous consoles broke, you could move to another one with no issue at all.  You can’t do that here.  Also, Gamecube let you start a new town on a blank memory card.  There was no restriction there.  Where are all you people getting this “that’s how it’s always been” thing?

The Gamecube version of AC seemed precisely setup to let you play either in one town or to easily start up a new town on a new blank memory card.  It was pretty easy if you spent the money on a memory card.  There was nothing that limited this.

If any of the previous consoles broke, they could move their memory card, cartridge, or save game to the new one.  That’s not how this one works and people won’t enjoy the same.

It was pretty easy to plug in a blank memory card on the Gamecube and start a new town up.  Not sure where you got the one save per console thing in your head for that one.

How do you figure that AC on the GameCube wasn’t designed for you to use multiple memory cards?  You just plug in a new memory card and start a new town.  It’s not like you had to do anything special.  I’m confused.

You could use multiple memory cards to have more than one town on the Gamecube. You just had to dedicate an entire card to it.

No.  With the Gamecube you could use multiple memory cards.  It was one town per memory card, not per console.

I used multiple memory cards for Animal Crossing on the GameCube. So it was certainly not this limited at all back then.

I’ve added exif data to digital scans of old photos.  I’ve changed exif data on pictures that I knew was wrong because of the camera having the wrong time and date.  So I know you can change it to anything you want.

Just think: it would have only taken you 35 hours to complete if you could have turned off the animation.

I really thought that, originally, cardboard boxes with the plastic CD or DVD cases inside were the waste. They could usually be recycled, but I imagine many threw them away as Americans are wont to do with anything recyclable. (I won’t get into how every recycling bin I see at restaurants is full of food trash)

The few times that I’ve tried to sell used books to a used bookstore, they barely wanted 5 of the books out of the 6 boxes I brought in.  They didn’t even want them for free.  So if it’s trash to them, it’s likely to be trash about anywhere. I dropped them in a “donation” box that clearly said they would be resold.

There is something wrong with it.  When a person parking has no patience and pulls on your side of the road to quickly park.  Or when a person just pulls out and you’re heading towards them and they’re on your side of the road. Also, when idiots are parked on wrong side at night and have their lights on shining right
