They need to set up a separate brand and distribution channel, similar to how mainstream Japanese automobile brands set up second channels for products that didn’t fit their original brands and dealer body.

Went to MCI’s website and their latest J-series 4500 motorcoach has a GVWR of 54k lbs. The payload capacity is 16k lbs.

Looking at a used D-series, the GVWR is listed at 40-45k lbs.

35 tons might be rich but it’s still significantly overladen for that bridge.
