Nice, I've heard that about RDR2. I'm gunna check it out one of these days

What a tacky shade of green. It’s unfortunate that we don’t get better greens in our car colors as standard (not premium package) options, it seems like mostly we get variations on reds and blues.
I dunno, I think this aspect of escapism appeals to some people and is utterly boring to others. I have the luxury of living in a very outdoorsy state with mountains in spitting distance where I do a good deal of hiking, so when I want the experience of walking through woodsy nature I can go do that. I absolutely do…
Arm piece, not a hat
I too expect many of those planets to be...moons?
“But who will be righteously indignant?”
Yeah, I lost that cashier's check, sorry. Also I'm moving to Iceland
Hmm, I’m much less inclined to agree with you on the bank bit because banks aren’t really individually owned little operations like gas stations but are mostly corporate behemoths. If my bank deposited a million dollars in my account I'd be much more comfortable withdrawing all of that in a cashier's check and telling…
Make sure you don't hurt yourself with that stretch you're doing here
Yeah it’s a good question. It’s hard for me to identify with how that much material wealth must turn the brain in new and odd directions. I’m sure some part of it is ego, “by the metrics of our society, I’m so insanely materially successful, so people below me need to hear what I have to say so they can learn from it"
No reason for folks to work from home other than:
I appreciate your use of that Wisconsin boomer-ass turn of phrase
No apologies needed, that sounds like a miserable work experience! I hope you find something better and things improve for you. I’ve often found it ironic that the more money companies have, the more they look to cut costs through employee benefits and just squeeze their people
Boom, I like it!
I have a hard time mustering the motivation to give my employer 10-15 hours of honest work a week out of the 40 I'm there
Definitely. You gotta just quit and sell all that stock and work 2 days a week for the next 20 years
I have a friend who has worked at Space X for about a decade now, he has always been in the office 60-70 hours a week. Dude’s probably a millionaire by now with the stock he’s picked up, but it’s not worth the tradeoff to me.
It’s like a FOIA filing without all of that pesky bureaucracy
Twitter is an absolute garbage fire
