I used to play SoR 2 so much that I would throw a pipe or knife in a certain spot and hit guys off screen because I knew where they would be waiting. I also found that Axel slides backwards when doing the Bare Knuckle move if you tapped back immediately after pressing forward twice and before pressing attack. I loved

No love for Shinobi? I loved Golden Axe as a kid, but I have a hard time playing it now - and the genre as a whole is still my favorite genre. The music for Golden Axe II and III is still amazing though. I wish Sega would finally port Golden Axe: the Revenge of Death Adder to consoles... by far the best game in the

It actually looks French to me (which it is).. I wish they worked with Ayano Koshiro on the designs.. although if they had then it may have ended up looking too anime/manga-ish. I feel like the original games had that perfect balance between Japanese and American art styles.

What game is this?

The main reason the Wii U flopped was because it came off as an attachment to the Wii. I don’t think ports and indie titles will hurt the Switch’s popularity because it’s pretty much the successor to the 3DS and is filling a void perfectly.

Now playing

I’m obsessed with the Amiga version of Ken’s theme.

The PC Engine/Turbo Grafx 16 CD version is worth playing just to hear that amazing soundtrack.

First game I owned for the Sega Saturn.

When I was in middle school, we had a TV in our classroom on one of those stands with wheels and a VCR that had been left in the room for a week (by my desk this day). One afternoon day I decided to take my Saturn up there and I hooked it up piece by piece in the afternoon. First the composite cable.. then the plug..

All dealerships here in the States are franchised as it is illegal for car manufacturers to sell directly to consumers. So no, “Northwest Toyota” or whatever isn’t owned by Toyota. Gamestop has Nintendo’s logo on the wall, doesn’t mean it’s owned by Nintendo.

It took awhile for PlayStation games to get down to $40. They started out at $60, that eventually became $50 and by around 1999 $40 was the norm. I think FF7 was 49.99 if not more when it came out. It definitely wasn’t “$30 - $40.”

Your analogy isn’t that good. What you said is more comparable to someone complaining that gamestop employees don’t get free games, not people working at Nintendo.

Yep. When I worked at a game store 10 years ago and someone would comment on how expensive games “had gotten” I would tell them about my mom buying me Streets of Rage 3 in summer 94 for $75.

You didn’t have a local video store? Renting games on Fridays not only prevented me from asking my parents for $60+ duds, but also was a highlight of my childhood (not to mention how I played most games anyways).

Title is misleading. I don’t know what this really is, but a brawler it isn’t.

Frankly, if frankly doesn’t frankly have frankly... then it’s frankly not frankly.

This game is my favorite 2D Mario game of all time.

I wouldn’t mind playing a finished game that looked like a couple of these.

If they just improved that Sega Forever “service” and put it on Switch I’d be okay with that.
