Do you think they didn’t try these things on the Wii U? What did that get them besides a couple of games that didn’t do anything for system sales? The developers are in the driver’s seat.. that whole idea about leverage really doesn’t fly. The Wii was crushing the 360 and PS3 in sales early on but that didn’t stop…
Nintendo can’t demand a 3rd party developer make good games for them.. If the Wii was graphically on par with its contemporaries, I imagine we would’ve seen ports of the big third party games. The 3DS’s library was what it was because it’s an entirely different space that Nintendo’s platform was the leader in.
Super no thanks.. in your future, we’ll probably end up getting like 5 games once every year or two that are exactly the same as the previous ones because they’ll sell no matter what. No reason to innovate..
Add the SMS, Saturn and N64 and I’m all over this.
I would. I think a beat em up should be on the list and your best options would probably be Double Dragon, Final Fight or Streets of Rage 2. I think going with the game many consider to be the best in the genre isn’t a bad choice.
Yeah, this is actually the Fox Sports theme that’s used with more than football, but it’s more popular with football.
False.
Yeah I certainly won’t claim to know all I’m talking about here, just what I’ve read over the years. I remember my cousin (a fellow Sega fanboy) being disappointed by Sega using parts off the shelf for the Saturn. I don’t think you could walk into a store and buy the DCs GPU though. The Genesis also had stock PC parts…
The Atari 2600 had off the shelf parts.. that wasn't uncommon with consoles in the past.
Yeah, just some guy that has been involved in development of Sonic 2, Crash, Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted, Resistance...
The PS3 was 2006 - 2013.
The 360 controller is the only one on this list I’d consider a personal favorite. The DS4 is easily the best iteration, but I’ve always hated the d pad on Playstation controllers and prefer the way the Xbox controller feels in my hand. The Dreamcast controller was uncomfortable for my fingers in the back. I also hated…
The family is already well taken care of considering his dad is a hip hop legend.
One of my favorite things about fighting games is the aesthetics. Nidhogg isn’t a great comparison as its really got nothing to be compared to itself. Street Fighter IV and V play fine, but they’re so ugly.
Nope.
I’m more into game music with a groove to it, which is why I’ve recently been hooked on the Fighting Street OST. I know you asked for tracks to games that we’ve been playing recently, but this game is almost unplayable lol. The original OST is either unlistenable or pretty bland. Take Joe’s theme for example:
Konami hasn’t made an arcade game I’ve cared about in probably 20 years.
