Why does a person’s age have anything to do with it? I was 14 when I got my 64. I loved Mario 64 and Sonic Adventure came out when I was 16 and I loved it then too. For the guy saying “what was I gonna play? Mario?” because he was 27, I just don’t understand why any of that matters. What’s funny is that when gaming

that's the thing though, how many ps1 games are still good in 2016? that whole generation was marred by games that if you didn't play them at the time, they just aren't that good.

Lol is this a joke?

Nintendo alienated developers with the NES and SNES... they put out more quality 1st party titles a year on the 64 on to the Wii U than they did on the SNES simply because they had to. Sega started to woo developers over to the other side, then Sony finished what Sega had started by undercutting Nintendo with their

I remember getting a Playstation in 1999 after having the 64 and Saturn for some years. I hated it.. it had ugly graphics too... that whole generation was the ugliest only behind the pre-NES days. I also hated the playstation controller.. the dual shock 4 is the first one I’ve liked..

Lifted from Wikipedia:

“World changing?” A bit of a stretch don’t you think? They aren’t curing disease or something. The only world they affected was the gamer world. In the grand scheme of things, they, just as Kobe are entertainers. Kobe was also “industry defining” as well. I’m not even a fan of his but it always bugs me when people are

So is it unsettling that Notch, Gabe Newell, Randy Pitchford, John Carmack, Cliffy B, Shigeru Miyamoto and several others could’ve retired comfortably by 40 while those that made the hardware, discs, packaging, sold the games, or in some cases worked on the games will toil their whole lives and still not retire

I was just refuting the statement that Nintendo’s first party games for the Wii U were gimmicky. Also, the controller isn’t prohibitive as far as porting goes. I actually think it was a great idea, but the name of the console was very stupid. I can’t believe they went that route again after the 3DS caused confusion

Mini DVDs didn’t affect the Gamecubes sales, the PS2 did. The original Xbox used DVDs, had better graphics and pushed online play right out of the box and only did marginally better than the Cube. The 64 was hurt by cartridges sure, but most of all 3rd parties had started defecting with the Genesis due to Nintendo’s

Yeah, the 64 and GameCube were as powerful if not more powerful than their competition and they sold less combined than their previous console. I don’t see the Wii breaking 100 million (or even 50) if it was just another 360/PS3.

Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country Returns Tropical Freeze, Smash Bros, New Super Mario Bros U and some other Wii U games I’m sure I’m forgetting didn’t have gimmicks.

Can’t wait to see what the one opening up in Frisco next month I believe will be like.

Make sense historically.

Multiple

Lol thanks for proving my point. Sega OWNS Atlus, so if Yakuza fails, Atlus can’t just “split off” from Sega. Atlus’ franchises are Sega’s franchises. If Sega wanted to make a Persona featuring Sonic and friends, they could.

I’m not sure you understand how publishing works. In fact, you say if Yakuza fails bye bye Sega and then say if Persona fails, bye bye Atlus. Well.. Sega owns Atlus.. so. Its more like, if Persona, Yakuza, Sonic, Total War, Football Manager fail.. bye bye Sega. Also piggy backing on what zerokei said, Square Enix is

Is Mark of the Wolves 2 too much to ask?

Just a trio of games: Transformers Devastation (XB1), Destiny TKK (PS4) and Helldivers (PS4).

I used to take my controllers (and consoles) apart all the time just to see what was inside. I remember when my 64 stick got loose I went in there and tightened it up. All my friends hated using that controller because of course I most likely ruined it and it was actually too tight. I also thought I was cool because I
