Me too.. saw it on demo at game stop about 15 yrs ago and immediately bought it. Had tons of fun doing co-op with my friends.

Battletoads arcade? I’m in

I’ve grown used to it with Japanese Publishers by this point. As a kid, Sega, Capcom and Konami were my favorites... First Sega crushed me by quitting hardware, but I understood. What I didn’t understand was why they went from making creative and innovative titles to most of the stuff they’ve put out in the last 10 -

Bethesda isn’t even close to being on the same level as the others. They put out a couple of games a year while the 4 he was talking about (which included Activision) release titles in the double digits each year.

Sony and Microsoft are first party though and you forgot Activision.

What would make you think the sequel to a game that sold poorly on a console that is selling poorly would sell several million copies? They haven’t even sold several million consoles in Japan.

I love the irony that calling football fans "ignorant jock douchebag(s)" makes you sound like an ignorant douchebag.

Rondo of Blood was ported to Super Nintendo as Dracula X/Vampire’s Kiss. It was also released on the Wii as a virtual console offering and it was remade for the PSP in 2.5D (this version also had unlockable versions of the original as well as Symphony of the Night.

Mirror of Fate sucked and didn’t feel like one of IGAs Castlevanias at all... Instead it felt like a limited Lords of Shadow.

Why? It’s a game with an established universe set to come out not long after a new film in the series. From a business standpoint it’d be foolish. We have a new James Bond film coming out, so let’s make a game where our classic character is a female alien gorilla.

To be fair, the Mad Max franchise goes back some 36 years...

Was all the good rap in use when you posted this?

Add another vote for the G502. Not much else to say that hasn't already been said.

The DSi was slightly more advanced hardware than the previous DS. I don't think anybody is looking at the new 3DS as a successor. Its like thinking the ram expansion for the Nintendo 64 was going to be the follow up instead of the GameCube.

Enix also published Mischief Makers and Sin and Punishment was a collaboration between Nintendo and Treasure (in the same way that Sega worked on an F-Zero and Namco worked on a Mario Kart). I just never saw Nintendo publishing a couple of Treasures games in the same light as what they had going on with Rare. I

When did Treasure have something with Nintendo? Besides Mischief Makers and Sin and Punishment, what did they make for Nintendo platforms back in the day? Sega makes more sense with Light Crusader, Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, Alien Soldier, the McDonald's games being Genesis exclusive (not to mention Guardian

Sounds like the opinion of someone who hasn't played more than one level of the last 3 actual Sonic games. Colors and Generations were great, Lost World was a bit too ambitious, it had some quality parts and was overall fun... Learning curve for controls were dumb. Either way, Sonic is fine....

All of Sega's (and Capcom's) unused IP isn't even my biggest gripe... It's that theyve entirely abandoned making games with the signature styles that got them where they are today. There were flashes of it last gen (Zack and Wiki, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, EX Troopers, Yakuza, Valkyria Chronicles, Binary Domain etc), but

Sonic is fine currently, it's the other Sega stuff that bothers me.

Last 20 years? That's stretching it by a decade at least.. and even then, they've had some good titles in the last decade. And I hate modern Sega....
