Clockpunk

Pusha T has been on the scene for like 10 yrs.

I always thought this perception was corny. I figure most of it stemmed from the fact that MSFT only had Halo, Gears, Fable and Forza to show at events while placing so much focus on CoD and stuff. Some of the idiots on XBL didn't help either.

Exactly bro, to each their own. I understand the view that for some it's not worth it now, but I don't think either view is dumb or anything. I do need to add that I'm a collector so getting first editions is of more importance to me.

Knack was a new IP. Odds are a yr from now all of the games folks will be hyped about will have "carbon copies" as well. Sounded to me like OP was referring to remasters like The Last of Us.

People complained all the time lol.. the internet just wasn't as prevalent.

If the name sells the system... Why did the PS3 have such an abysmal launch coming off the heels of the tremendous success of the PS2.

"Sony has sold—sold, not shipped"

Wrong, Knack was frustrating sure.. but I enjoyed it.

I believe by March 2001, the PS2 had done 10 million.. granted, the console was a year old in Japan by then.

Man I loved beating Infamous, Knack and Killzone in 2012... Wait....

I bought both.. I use the PS4 more and like it better (not a Sony fan boy, I also got a Wii U on day one).

wait... Why would you be uncomfortable for Uncharted to be an exclusive?

No it wasn't, it was made to emulate the popular arcade games at the time it was in development, so what? 92, 93? It could actually do 3D pretty well (see the Shenmue prototype as well as Virtua Fighter 2), it's just that it was so hard to pull off that Sega was the only dev willing to put the time in.

I actually haven't read that.. just years of interviews and other articles online. I did read console wars, but I knew a lot of this prior to reading that.

Yeah, that was Tom Kalinskes idea and the chairmen in Japan started yelling lol. Nakayama told him to do what he thought was best and he did.. they altered his appearance and origins (he was in a band and had a human gf named Madonna lol) to try to appeal to western children's tastes and created an icon for American

I've had my eye on this for awhile, but I'm a little leery of kickstarter. I would like a digital copy as I do all my reading on my tablet.. I would bite but I can't justify spending $63 on a book at this moment. I'll have to get it eventually though, it looks and sounds lovely.

Are you high?

Dont put this on SoA... They're the only reason Sega lasted as long as they did. I mean, the 32X was a bad idea, but I think they could have recovered if the Saturn wasn't crammed with off the shelf parts at the last minute in an effort to match the Playstations power (making it harder to program for), or forced to be

Please do this with 90s shows!
