David Mandel's first tweet after becoming showrunner was something along the lines of "yeah, Veep is definitely already worse" or something similarly hilarious and self-deprecating, but holy shit did he nail it.

Is anyone else's favorite part of the show Phillip and Elizabeth being super concerned about the mundane parts of Henry's life? First the cologne, and now the biology test, I legitimately laughed out loud at both parts

This episode was a bit scattered for me but the final conversation between Gretchen and Jimmy I couldn't help but laugh out loud, it was so god damn perfect. A perfect ending to an awesome season

This is probably late but the reviewer got it wrong. It was the Boston Herald they were saying would bungle it, not the Phoenix. They give a shoutout to the Phoenix for writing the story earlier than the Globe (but then say that no one reads the Phoenix lol)

Maybe Courtney Ford? I don't think so though. The person I'm thinking of is probably early 30s?

I know this is two weeks late but I completely agree. In the first episode I thought she was another actress but looking up her past work I haven't seen anything she's in. She looks like a younger version of….someone else that I just can't place

Holy fuck the White Rose scene was amazing.

On paper the overuse of "hack" in the show would be eye-rolling but holy shit he makes it riveting

There's a surprising amount of callbacks. The cops that always show up are STILL the same cops from the first season. The cop who they ended up kidnapping? He was the same cop from a bunch of episodes before he was kidnapped, and his partner is still the same cop that showed up last night too

I think that was the funniest thing I saw this year, I was basically in tears
