If they want an MGB-GT, and have a $50k budget, shouldn’t they just get an MGB-GT? While the body itself is a bit more rare than its droptop sibling, they’re simple, have huge support, and MG’s aren’t exactly hard to find (seriously, I have a friend nearing 40 who’s in an MG owner’s club, and he’s pretty easily the

The all-too-obvious answer: 1964-70 Mustang (not necessarily Cougar) or 1967-69 or 1970-81 Camaro (not necessarily Firebird). There are enough parts available for these—up to and including a complete body—to make a zero-percent-original new car, and they will always sell for decent money.

The quintessential sleeper: Taurus SHO.

The best fast Ford is the 1901 “Sweepstakes” race car piloted by Ford himself:

I like the front end more than I thought but I’m not a huge fan of the rear honestly considering this is the only “affordable” Coupé with a V8 and stick once the Camaro and challenger seize production I give it an 8/10

God these things are always mechanically amazing and otherwise look like super fancy Mitsuoka Orochis.

Jaguar XJR 15

I have a soft spot in my heart for the TVR Cerberra. I think I first came across it in a Test Drive game, but man this thing looks good for real. It’s a TVR, so you get a max of 200 miles out of it before something catastrophically fails, but LOOK AT IT

Mini Cooper, without a doubt, and that is since I was a kid. I even had that car to use with my Scalextric track.

The Jaguar XJ220:

He’s not wrong biologically speaking, which is why 2nd cousins can legally marry in all 50 states. At that level, problematic recessive traits getting excessively reinforced typically only become a problem over several generations in a small population (a very small town, or perhaps early-modern European royalty)

Love my electric car, but for road trips it does kinda suck. Around town, it’s FAR better than any gas powered anything. For long road trips, I want a gas powered anything.

I’m going to assume that the car showed around 60476km on the odo. 60476km= ~37788mi and 60448-37788 = 22668. Someone didn’t fix the odo display after it was taken to the US on a previous trip.

Not sure “long dead” or “deserves” is applicable here but kinda surprised we haven’t seen a Hellcat Magnum.

Dodge Lil Red Express. One of the few (if not only) factory vehicles to come with semi-truck exhaust stacks!

Chrysler Prowler. I really hate this car, being a false flashy pseudo retro Rod. I am glad it did not last long.

Pontiac GTO

Absolutely the First Gen Viper. The Epitome of a factory “Hot Rod”

I think you meant $7 Gran.
