It’s about which slush fund the taxes go into. Utility taxes don’t make their way to the road maintenance fund.

I think Miata is a pretty good answer here. As an only car, it would mean I might have to rent something bigger on occasion, but getting past the idea that we need to own a vehicle capable of all of our “sometimes” needs would go a long way in decreasing the average vehicle size.
$66k for a “blank slate” just reminds me that there are a lot of people with a lot more money than I have.
I own a 9-7x Aero, and the only way I’m leaving a Scat Pack in the dust is if they didn’t know we were racing.
I’ve been wanting a small plow for my driveway, but I’d only really need it a few times per year. I have a snow blower, but my driveway is more like a small parking lot than a driveway, so a plow would work better. $6k is a lot of money for something I’d only need a few times per year.
It seems like a simple, non-partisan thing to get through the legislature, but each position has merit, and each person on all three sides thinks that their position is obvious.
“Cycle cars” have been legislated out of existence, but they were once a source of innovation and efficient affordable transportation.
There’s one thing it cannot be, though: a regular hearse.
Tell me you didn’t read the post without telling me you didn’t read it.
I’m always surprised when I’m reminded that the F31 M30 existed in colors other than pearl white.
The contemporary Maxima SE made 190 using the VE, but the base Maxima had the same VG as this and put out 160.
From what I’ve read, the reinforcements that ASC added to the M30 when they chopped the top actually made the car stiffer than the uncut coupe. I haven’t driven each back to back to verify this first hand, but it’s a consistent claim*
The ‘63 Corvette I owned in ‘97
...we’re going to make the best racing movie that’s ever existed.
Best car commercial ever.
Thank you. “Sike” irks me almost as much as “could of”, but I fear we may lose the “sike” battle. Language evolves, and I expect “sike” to make it into the OED as a variation of “psych” within my lifetime. That doesn’t mean I have to like it.
As an owner of a 9-7x Aero, I want to disagree, but...
The Toyota Cavalier
The question was for the worst badgineering. The 9-2x was awesome.
“John Player Special cars from Lotus are always so cool. We should make a John Player Special of the Evija!”
