I’m glad to have a job and all and thought I’d be able to get projects competed during this time but it’s all just nervous energy, accomplishing nothing and obsessively reading the news. I work in public health and I’m really worried.

Good that you’re doing well. I wish I had a pup and a backyard. That seems to be the key. Apartment living is hard now. Take care of yourself.

Same. I’m claustrophobic and lonely. Everyone I call seems to be “making the best of this”, “keeping myself busy” or “spending time with family” and either they’re lying or I’m weird because the isolation is incredibly difficult for me.

Jessica Simpson reminds me of an ex who pops into my life 3 times a year to talk about what we did as college freshmen in 2001 pre-9/11 NYC.

Was that really necessary? Give or don’t but asking people to give to charity if they can is a decent thing.

Any special tips? Mine died despite my best efforts. It was on a south-facing balcony in GA so I’m not sure what else to do.

Almost 70 y/o lady at my job has been coughing for 2 weeks. Came in a few days ago after picking up her husband from the airport as he’d just returned from London. We gently tried to ask her if she would consider staying home and she said she wanted to save her PTO for vacations instead.
