That’s so awful! I've had things like that happen and I discuss with my supervisor in confidence, never in an email that can be tracked back to me.

It’s very beautiful shots of gorgeous Italy. That's the appeal for me.

Thank you so much!

This is right on time. My job is crushing my soul and my self esteem. It helps to read the comments and not feel so alone.

Thanks. Love wine and food so going to Porto as well. Wondering whether to stop off in Coimbra on the way to Porto. We’re also doing a day trip to Cascais.

While that sounds awful, please tell me about your trip. I’m off to Lisbon next week.

Should have lead with the last sentence. It's becoming impossible even in the southern cities now.

I will admit that I didn’t take the time to read that long rambling post above but I did catch your first one about people not acting like they can’t save for retirement. (?) I can tell that you’re passionate about other people’s affairs though.

God forbid someone feel uncomfortable around a badly trained Pitbull while trapped in a tube.

Atlanta’s airport doesn’t deserve all of the hatred I’m seeing in the comments. Not when JFK exists. I’ve never had any issues flying into it out of it, with immigration or customs, with respect to food. I quite like it.

Can’t swim either. Born and raised right next to an ocean.

I couldn’t even finish The Bluest Eye because I saw so much of myself in that little girl. Being born brown and kinky-haired into a mixed family and loathing my reflection in the mirror. Even years later, it leaves a knot in my stomach to think about.

I’ll need her to come through to some of the other islands’ carnivals as well. St Lucia to Barbados to Grenada back to back to back.

Not trying to be unkind but all of the money spent on products and all the steps don’t ever seem to make much of a difference.

She’s a confident and unapologetic black woman. Nothing makes people crazier.

Just asked a Danish friend who said that this isn’t even on anyone’s radar over there. So much for the white Americans bellyaching about “what would Hans Christian Andersen think of this?”

Plodding along but it’s harder than I thought it would be. I forgot my debit card once and after a rough day at work I really needed a bagel at 6pm (!!) so I swiped.

Agreed. Most of us have moments where we need a little help or we slip and these challenges are good, I think. As I mentioned above, paying off your card every month doesn’t mean you don’t stand to gain something from cutting down on frivolous card purchases. I’m using the challenge as a reset and I don’t think I’ll

I like the challenge.

If the challenge isn’t for you then just skip it! No need for the long brag about how financially responsible you are because you pay off your card every day. Geez!
