I hear you. And I've noticed more breakage since going natural since I get really frustrated with my very curly hair and then start tugging on it when trying to get it combed before I rush out of the door every morning.

My natural hair is about 3 different textures. Tighter curls on the top, frizzy on the sides, loose curls in the back. To me it's really not worth it to spend as much time as I did trying to make it look uniform. I think convenience trumps everything else. Just because it's natural, doesn't mean it's easy to maintain.
