There’s a designer in LA named Allan Schwartz who has - for many years - made cheap but uncannily accurate knock-offs of Oscar night gowns (and Grammys, Emmys, etc) and had them in stores within a week. I have no doubt he - and others - have already knocked off every great outfit the Duchess has worn.

At the same time, NPH is very much brands himself as The Theatre Person™ -, with a specialty in Musical Theatre© - and Rachel Bloom stars in the biggest musical TV show of the last several years. Like it’s a massive award-winnimg critical darling, and I don’t even think it was Rachel’s first year backstage/red carpet

You know, saying I’m petty for being irritated by his Twitter presence this week (and in general) is fair enough. But brushing off the Amy Winehouse corpse as “Dead celebrities are a thing at Halloween” is a little weird to me?

There’s also this little nugget about his doucheness.

As someone who genuinely struggles to remember faces of people that I don’t know all that well (and fuck my life if a person I know pretty well changes their hair really drastically), I can understand not recognizing someone you have already met, even if you’ve met them several times. I have had many awkward moments

My guess would be that Stephen Colbert laughed all the way to the bank. ♡

I crossed this snob off my list a long time ago. He also said, “I turned down the Late Night Show because I think hosting would be so boring.” Nice, dick. Bet Colbert felt real good.

But they have more dignity and class.

Rachel Bloom’s GQ statement is glorious.

Seriously? This is some petty nonsense right here. The ‘I don’t know her’ tweet was a little bit bitchy, at worst, but making a big deal out of the rest of these tweets and even the Amy Winehouse corpse is ridiculous. Dead celebrities are a thing at Halloween. Must be a slow news day.

Agreed! I feel like he might be one of those people who don’t understand you can have a thought and not share it with everyone.

I really like what Rachel had to say about the whole thing and that she wasn’t afraid to call him out for being out of touch.

The original Tony tweet was so weird, because if Rachel Bloom wasn’t a famous person he had met and he haden’t made a mistake, then it would just be rude and weird instead of being rude and clueless.

Man who played an ignorant egotistical jackass whose behaviour people normalised as “a joke/cool” shockingly turns out to be an ignorant egotistical jackass whose behaviour people normalised...

I came in here to bitch about the Amy Winehouse thing and was so glad to see it mentioned. I have a pretty sick sense of humor sometimes (my job requires me to have a bit of gallows humor to stay sane) but mocking someone who died after years of struggle is not a good look at all. It could have just been a fictional

This is a question I ask myself all the time, and I’m tired of asking. It feels like the answer is always “No one. We’re on our own.” We take care of each other.

Peace to your group at your march, sis. Take them down and thank you all for what you are doing.

I don’t know what to say other than I’m sorry. I went though a similar thing last year and unfortunately I am still living with my dad since I haven’t been able to find full time work with benefits. My dog is the one thing keeping me (relatively) sane—I don’t know what I’d do with out her!

Nooooooooooo Noooooooooooo Noooooooooooooo!
