I’m currently reading “A long walk to freedom”, the autobiography of Nelson Mandela. While a fine and inspiring read, I also find it incredibly depressing that the discarded ideas of Apartheid seem to be making a big comeback these days.

Like Maya Angelou wrote, “The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them.” Rep. King is making it easy. The terrifying thing is that his loud-and-proud bigotry may not be enough to hurt his re-election chances. Might even get him more donors.

The murder, the “trial”, the questions, the judges, the lawyers, the go-fund me, the new house, the new white baby.... all exactly like 400 years of oppression is designed to look. He got his reward for doing what wypipo want white officers to do - kill non-whites, preferably black men.

As a fan of Joe Schmoe Show, Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Burning Love, hate-watcher of Unreal, and confirmed black woman, I must say: good for her. Maybe I’ll actually tune in for the first time.
