They probably don’t have to make the battery much larger. You have to keep in mind the newer gen cpus and oleds consume less power. The battery does not degrade by 50% in 4 years. They might be able to get the batteries to last 4 years by increasing the battery size by 20% max.

I feel like this response is somewhat fair. Hopefully in their newer phones they will include batteries which can continuously performance and desired voltage/amps for 4 - 5 years instead of 2.
