As someone living in a sane part of Canada who was able to see this film safely in theaters last year, I’m just gonna say this now: Stay the f*ck away from this movie at all costs. Not because it’s truly awful, but because it turns out the whole film basically threw out Hillenburg’s original idea for it, and instead

Depends on where you live. In markets such as Canada and South Korea, it was released in theaters around August on last year, then went to VOD afterwards.

Seriously. I mean, I get that it was supposed to be about Lisa being racked with guilt over knowing that her brother’s confidence & success is entirely due to a misunderstanding, but yet again, they flanderized things way too much. I decided to check the Wikipedia summary on the film, & indeed, that actually is how the vests work, to the point where it ends up being an essential part of the climax: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triggered_(film) So congrats on guessing correctly when it comes to a home video horror hilm! 8D

One unique thing I noted afterwards is when Tommy shows super-speed powers, with Pietro responding that it “runs in the family.”

here’s a real story about Yves Guillemot: his brother Christian runs a mobile game company that called QAnon leader, Q, a “Hero” and has him listed as a hero class in their game Instant War.

Actually, they WERE going to call him that at first, no kidding, but they were afraid of possible legal repercussions. Honestly, I think it’s for the best, as the joke is a bit TOO obvious.
